Set in the extraordinary surroundings of Teide National Park, this stargazing experience offers a fascinating introduction to astronomy beneath one of the cleanest and clearest night skies in the world. The exceptionally low levels of light pollution and the high altitude create remarkable visibility, making the stars, planets, and constellations appear especially vivid.
Led by certified Starlight guides and supported by professional high-powered telescopes, the activity reveals planets, distant galaxies, constellations, and other deep-space phenomena. By combining astronomy, history, science, and ancient mythology, the experience makes complex ideas accessible, engaging, and memorable.
For Erasmus+ participants, the activity provides much more than an evening under the stars. It encourages curiosity, scientific thinking, environmental awareness, and meaningful group interaction in a unique natural setting.
